Broker's Remarks

Price Reduced Again! Now Incredible Value!

The price drop to $185 K now confirms that this seller is very motivated to get her sold! Considering the following has been installed new in recent times; full sized gen set, both sails, standing rigging, genoa furling system, all sea cocks and thru hulls and much, much more, as well as being fully air conditioned throughout, this cat now offers great value to the right buyer.

As a boat that has been used for charter and sailing school work all of her life, she is undoubtedly showing more than average cosmetic wear and many minor repairs could still be implemented for perfection. However, considering all her significant, costly and meaningful upgrades, we feel that the amount of time and effort now required to have her in good shape and ready for more cruising is very minimal compared to the tens of thousands recently invested by her owner in the important “bones” of the boat (that many Leopards of this vintage will require addressing). Yes, she does also have high engine hours, however, during a very recent survey the engines started easily, ran without significant smoke etc., once again highlighting the impressive longevity of Yanmar engines that have been regularly used and regularly serviced.

If you are a buyer that is handy, or someone that is not bothered about the more minor issues, but appreciates a cat that has had the vast majority of the big tickets items recently replaced, yet is very attractively priced, then this is a cat that should be seriously considered.
